ABOUT US
The Mechanical Engineering Group (MEG) is a technical group of Engineering New Zealand and has strong links and support from I.Mech.E (The Institution of Mechanical Engineers, London). They aim to encourage social and technical liaison between engineers of all levels who have an interest in mechanical technology.
Engineering New Zealand
Engineering New Zealand is a non-profit membership organisation, dedicated to promoting the interests of engineers and engineering and do so by having a voice on topical issues. Our members are professional, credible and up to date with industry changes. We support them every day to be the best engineers they can be, and shout their contribution to our communities from the rooftops. Put simply, we bring engineering to life.

As New Zealand’s professional body for engineers since 1914, we create a community of learning, collaboration, and support for engineers from all disciplines throughout the lifespan of their careers.
Institution of Mechanical Engineers
As a global community of mechanical engineers represented in over 140 countries, the Institution is the largest network of mechanical engineering knowledge, skill and opportunity in the world. With an ever growing membership based outside the UK, we develop and maintain key partnerships with leading multi-national employers to ensure their technical workforces are trained to the highest standard. By equipping engineers with the right skills, knowledge and experience to help them develop, we contribute to strengthening the world’s leading companies.
